What Web Accessibility Means

  • An accessible website enables individuals with disabilities to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with digital content effectively.

  • This includes support for assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice recognition software, and other adaptive tools, while maintaining usability across different devices and operating systems.

 

Accessibility Standards & Compliance

  • IMACertified.org has been designed and adapted in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and aims to conform to Level AA standards.

  • These guidelines are internationally recognized as the benchmark for digital accessibility and reflect best practices for inclusive web design.

  • Some pages or features on IMACertified.org may include third-party content or integrations (such as embedded media, external platforms, or payment services) that are not fully under the control of IMAC GLOBAL.

  • Where such content does not fully comply with accessibility standards, we acknowledge partial compliance for those specific elements and continue to seek accessible alternatives where reasonably practicable.

Accessibility Arrangements (Digital-First Organization)

  • IMAC GLOBAL operates primarily as an international digital consortium. As such, most services, communications, and certifications are delivered online.

  • For physical events, programs, or partner venues organized or endorsed by IMAC GLOBAL, accessibility considerations are addressed in collaboration with local hosts and venue operators and may include reasonable accommodations where feasible.

  • Specific accessibility arrangements for physical locations will be communicated separately for each event or program.
